I’m Courtney Deelen (Dave’s daughter) who’s passion is creating entertaining stories with heart.
An indie Producer - Director - Writer for film and theatre by trade; I am so thrilled for the opportunity to utilize my expertise in creative writing, to help you curate a tailored, unique ceremony that is true to who you are as a couple.
Starting as Dave’s Assistant, I have had the honour and privileged of collaborating with over 85 couples in the short time that I have been a licensed officiant myself.
I love my job creating scripted, relatable moments that make audiences feel, but having the opportunity to build honest, tangible connections through the perfect ceremony for my couples means so much more.
As someone who craves genuine connection, being able to create core memories during such a significant moment in someone’s life is the greatest gift I have been given by becoming an officiant.
Your wedding day is an incredibly important day, and the officiant standing with you should be someone that you feel comfortable with and connected to.
My goal is to create a unique ceremony that “feels” like YOU. I am here to listen, offer guidance, answer questions, and support your ideas so this part of the wedding planning process is stress-free and fun.

Courtney was wonderful to work with!
